Multi-Tenant Content Platform for a Large EdTech Ecosystem
Client A large education technology company, India
Jungroo AI built a multi-tenant content platform that brings together videos, interactive modules and assessments across a large learning ecosystem. It keeps each institution's content strictly separate, handles 50,000 requests a minute at peak, and controls who can create, edit and publish at every stage.
The challenge
A large learning ecosystem served videos, interactive modules and assessments through several apps, for students, doubt-solving and live classes, across separate business and consumer clusters. There was no single source of truth for content, tenant isolation was weak, and the old system struggled at peak hours.
The solution
Jungroo AI built a cloud-native content platform with five parts:
- Isolated Multi-Tenancy: Strict separation of data and content between institutional clusters, with central administration.
- Elastic Scaling: Infrastructure that scales with demand and handles 50,000 requests a minute at peak.
- Role-Based Publishing: Precise permissions for creators, editors and publishers across the content lifecycle.
- Secure Content Delivery: Cloud storage with a custom permissions layer that serves each user only the content they are entitled to.
- Full Traceability: Every approval and access request is logged in real time.
The impact
Impact
| Measure | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Peak load | 5,000 requests a minute, with bottlenecks | 50,000 requests a minute |
| Tenant isolation | Shared, with risk | Separate data and permissions |
| Content delivery | Uneven | Fast and entitlement-based |
| Traceability | Basic logs | Full audit trail |
