Privacy
What we collect, and why.
We keep this short and plain. Updated 4 Nov 2026. Questions or requests go to hello@jungroo.com.
When you visit
We use two kinds of visit counts.
- Google Analytics: sets cookies and records the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and the site that sent you. Google's own privacy policy covers how Google handles it.
- Our own visit counts: no cookies, and nothing is stored on your device. We record the pages you view, how long each was on screen, how far you scrolled, the site or link that sent you, and your browser's language, time zone, device type and screen width.
- No IP addresses kept: to count visitors we turn your IP address, browser and the date into a one-way code. It changes every day and can't be turned back into the address. We do look up who your network is registered to in the public internet registries, for example a company, a university or an internet provider, and keep only that name and its country.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, our own visit counts switch off.
- How long: visit records are deleted automatically after about 13 months.
When you write to us
The contact form sends us your name, email, company, what you need and your message, along with the page you sent it from, how you reached the site and the pages you viewed that day. We use this only to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. It is emailed to our founders and stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.
Who else sees it
We don't sell or share your details. The services that run the site and our email handle them for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting, the form and our visit counts), Google (Analytics) and Microsoft 365 (our email).
Your choices
Write to hello@jungroo.com to see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. You can block cookies in your browser, and the site still works.
